Ilaria Pedercini is a young and talented wedding photographer who decided to extend her business to family portraits photography. 'Dai un bacio a chi vuoi tu' (kiss whoever you want, from an Italian nursery rhyme) is the brand name for these shooting sessions.
Ilaria needed a website to show her beautiful photographs in a frame that could be coordinated and synergetic with her style and to convert visits into online sells. She didn't want to show prices of shooting sessions at a first glance so we decided to split the e-commerce sessions in 3 steps and show prices just after an e-mail confirmation. This choice was also based on neuromarketing tactics normally used in e-commerce experiences.
The website and the e-commerce are bespoke. I studied how to split the selling steps to make the interface user friendly and attractive. A database records input informations and user choices. The website is connected to Ilaria's Google online calendar to check for her working availability. Moreover, an auto-compiling script about shooting location allows calculating automatically the distance in km from her office, which gives users accurate travel expenses. Every photo album has a weight property to calculate delivery costs.
